We strive to devote ourselves selflessly to the work of the Ministry as each of us seeks to edify the body of Christ with our many gifts and special talents. Mission Statement: We the men of the Solid Rock Men's Ministry strives to do all we can to advance the Kingdom of God by availing ourselves; To sing to the glory of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As a part of the body of Christ, we will strive in creating oneness and closer ties among ourselves; Reach out and proclaim the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ both in our homes and various place of work.

Mission Statement: The Women's Ministry of Solid Rock Christian Church seeks to mentor women, foster spiritual and personal growth, and equip our women to bring other women to Christ.
2010 Theme: "Transforming lives through Worship, Prayer and Praise".
Galatians 6:1 and 2 says: Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. (Gal. 6:1-2 NKJV).
The women of the Solid Rock Women's Ministry understand that because of the diverse situations and circumstances in the lives of all women today, it is a blessing and a struggle to address and meet the needs of everyone.
When we seek inspiration, enlightenment and are often times praying for a miracle, we as Christian women must recognize that God throughout Scripture acknowledges not only the trials but also in their triumphs of women. From these women, we can draw strength, encouragement and wisdom because as we learn about them, we in turn learn about ourselves and more importantly, we learn about our God.

The Healthcare Ministry functions to nurture and enhance the physical wellbeing of the congregation as we seek to walk as Disciples of Christ. We recognize that serving God requires that we maintain optimal physical, mental and spiritual health, so that we can bet serve others. We strive to achieve the goal of optimal physical wellness for all members of the congregation through fellowship, education and encouragement, utilizing a variety of activities designed to increase awareness of personal health.

The Solid as a Rock Fitness Group
Coming soon - the focus will be on activities designed to increase physical activity and awareness of the components of a healthy lifestyle. Please contact the church for information about this fun and stimulating activity!
The Rock Health Minute
The committee provides health information to the congregation during our main worship service on the third Sunday of every month. This activity is designed to enhance congregational awareness about conditions that affect health and the treatment and prevention of disease.

Reverend Clarence Jones - Sunday School Superintendent
Mission Statement: As led by the Holy Spirit, we seek to spread the message of God. It is our desire that all would come to know and follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We therefore seek to win souls to Christ through Teaching, Witnessing, and Evangelizing.
Vision: To Know Christ, To Grow In Christ, To Serve Christ, To Share Christ
Purpose: Sunday School serves as the foundational building block in a local church for leading people to a saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Therefore, Solid Rock Christian Church Sunday School will seek to enhance biblical knowledge, foster spiritual growth, and create an atmosphere for wonderful worship and powerful praise. This will be done through:

Music Ministry

Mission Statement: The Mission for the Foundation Choir is to deliver every second and fourth Sunday the traditional hymns, gospel and Negro spirituals which are the back-bone of the music ministry. The music structure is also based on the Pastors messages in accordance with the scriptures that are delivered during the service.
The Combined Youth Ministry

Mission Statement: The Youth Ministry of Solid Rock Christian Church shall strive to enrich the spiritual and social growth of the youth by cultivating Christian character through reaching, teaching and winning converts to Christ.

- To get all men involve in the decision-making so that, all views can be heard as to how to advance the goals and objectives of the group.
- Have regular meetings to discuss issues and progress of our objectives.
- We as men’s group has to yearly identify a project, which we will take on as part of our contribution to the uplifting of the Kingdom.
- Decide on a monthly contribution.
- Organize regular in a year to address challenges facing men in the Body of Christ.
- Make conscious effort to strengthen ties between brethren.
- Sing to the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
